Our story
Three generations in the same city
Cannon opened in 1949, when air conditioning was still a novelty in this part of North Carolina and most of the work was heating. The shop at 1718 S 41st St. has been the base ever since, and the customer list still includes houses we first serviced decades ago.
The work is straightforward. We repair what can be repaired, we replace what cannot, and we size replacement equipment to the house rather than matching the tonnage printed on the old label. In a climate this humid, that difference is the whole comfort of the house.
Being here that long means our technicians know the local building stock: historic-district houses with duct threaded through tight crawlspaces, mid-century ranches around Winter Park, beach properties fighting salt air, and newer subdivisions north of Ogden running second-generation heat pumps.
We are a fully licensed and insured HVAC company providing residential and commercial maintenance, installation and repair on all major brands, with free estimates on new equipment and 7 day emergency service outside normal business hours.
